Terms and Conditions.
Booking Terms
Please read our terms & conditions carefully

A deposit of €150 per angler per week, is payable upon booking. When the booking is confirmed your deposit becomes non-refundable. No swims or lakes will be held until the deposit is paid in full.

Telephone reservations will be held for 7 days, or by arrangement, pending the receipt of a deposit.

Amendments to the booking, at your request, after the deposit has been paid, will be subject to a €15 administration charge.

The balance of your Fishing holiday must be paid no later than 8 weeks before arrival. We reserve the right to pass on any charges arising from re-presenting cheques. Any discount given will be forfeited if the balance is overdue.

Pets and Dogs are not allowed at Castle Lakes or Deer Park Lakes.

Only guests listed on the booking form may enter Castle Lakes or Deer Park Lakes. Any changes to the people in the fishing party must be notified to us and agreed prior to arrival.

No more than the maximum number of persons as stated in the booking shall occupy the swim or lake booked. A child or baby of whatever age counts as one person.

No Anglers or guests should arrive before 12pm on the day of arrival and must vacate the swim or lake by 10am on the day of departure.

The anglers or guests must not, on their own or permit persons under their control, to do anything which may in the opinion of the management be, or become a nuisance, or be detrimental to the other anglers. Any such actions will be considered to be a breach of contract between Castle Lakes and the angler or guest. In particular, vandalism and abusive or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. Children remain the responsibility of their guardian. In the event of such a breach, the guest and their party will be asked to leave the lake immediately and no refund will be made.

The booking is accepted on the strict understanding that persons under the age of 18 years of age are not permitted to drink or buy alcoholic beverages at the lakes.

If you have not arrived by 6pm on the day after your holiday was due to start, or you have not contacted Castle Lakes to confirm when you will arrive, we will assume that the holiday is cancelled and the whole of the holiday costs will be retained. If you are going to arrive after 6pm you must contact Castle Lakes to inform them of your expected time of arrival. Arrangements can be made for late arrivals.

The lakes, swims and any equipment hired, must be kept and left in a reasonable condition. The anglers or guests will be responsible for any loss or breakages which occur during the hire period as a result of undue care or negligence. We reserve the right to charge your payment method with the cost of any damages.

Neither Castle Lakes nor its employees can accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage which may be sustained by the angler or guests or their property while at Castle Lakes or Deer Park Lakes except when it arises from negligence of the company or its employees.

The booking is made on the understanding that the angler or party will be available on the date stated. Should this not be possible through circumstances beyond the control of the management (for example fire, flood or damage) we cannot guarantee to provide an alternative venue, in which case your balance will be refunded in full, but you will have no further claim against Castle Lakes or any letting agent.

Your enjoyment is important to us and any shortcomings must be notified to the Fisheries management immediately so that they can be rectified for you. We cannot accept responsibility for any shortcomings not notified to us. We cannot consider any claims of shortcomings after you have left the lakes.

Any personal belongings left behind which have to be returned to you by post will be subject to a charge.

If you cancel your holiday before your balance date (8 weeks before your trip date) your deposit will not be refunded but the balance will be wavered. If you cancel after we have received your balance, the whole of your balance will not be refunded. The decision of the management is final.
Statement of intent
In order to access the services we provide and to provide us with feedback, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name, address, and telephone number, e-mail address). The services provided include fishing information, provision of feedback, holidays and consultations.
By entering your details Castle Lakes will be able to provide you with the services you requested. Whenever you provide personal information, we undertake to treat that information in accordance with our policy.
Submitting personal information
When you supply personal information to Castle lakes we have legal obligations towards you in the way we deal with that information. We have to process information within the framework of our statutory duties and powers and in addition we have to collect the information fairly. The individual notices on particular webpages, forms or specifically given to you, let you know how we will use the information and whether we will pass the information on to anyone else.
Access to your personal information
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information Castle Lakes holds about you, and to have any inaccuracies in that personal information corrected. Please address requests to Mr Bruce Batchelor or use the on-line contact form.
Direct marketing
From time to time we may wish to provide you with details of other services or literature about Castle Lakes, which may be of interest to you. We may also offer you the opportunity to participate in the consultation process for new methods, strategies, works or schemes proposed by Castle Lakes.
Users under 18
If you are under 18, please make sure that you obtain your parent / guardian's permission beforehand whenever you provide personal information to Castle Lakes on its website or by other means.
Security of personal information
We share the general concern over the safety and security of personal information on the Internet and have implemented procedures to promote the safety and security of information we collect online. We have implemented industry standard controls to try to ensure confidentiality; however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot therefore guarantee that personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Cookies are text files, which identify your computer to our server. Cookies in themselves do not identify the individual user, just the computer used. Castle Lakes do not use cookies within our website. |
