Location:
St Jeanvrin is situated in the heart of France surrounded by countryside and was named after a local saint and visionary priest from the 17th century.
The village church dates back to the early 12th century and on the banks of Castle Lakes two, are the ruins of the castle which also dates back to the 12th century.
This part of France is renowned as a very quiet and tranquil region that benefits from good weather.
The local supermarkets and shops are only about a ten minute drive away, offering cafes, bars, markets and shops for all you will ever need for your fishing holiday in France.

The Drive from Calais to the lakes should take about five hours and there are plenty of good service stations to stop at for food and drinks if required..
From Calais take the A26 to Junction 3, the intersection with the A1. Take the A1 to Paris, at junction 5 Take the A3 sign posted Bobigny then follow the sign posts to Creteill on the A86. You should then see sign posts for A10 Orleans. At Orleans take the A71 to Bourges. Exit the A71 at Junction 8 – direction St Amand Montrond Turn Left on to D951 – Le Chatelet Turn Left on to D3 – Chateaumeillet Turn right on to D128 – St Jeanvirn Follow the road to the church Turn right in front of church, follow signs past the lane to reception area. |
