Listed below are the rules of Castle Lakes and Deer Park Lakes, and must be followed at all times. An angler found abusing these lake rules will be asked to leave the fishing lake complex:
Speed limit on the complex is 1Omph/15kmph anyone breaking the limit will be asked to remove their vehicle from the complex.
All vehicles must be parked at the designated parking area.
Boats and electric engines are allowed.
Bait boats are allowed.
Life jackets are supplied with boats hired from Castle Lakes and must be worn at all times, anyone bringing their own boat must provide their own life jackets.
Dropping rigs from boatslbait boats is allowed on both Castle lakes one and two up to a maximum of 100 metres from your swim.
Only 4 rods allowed on Castle lakes one and two.
No carp to be sacked during daylight hours.
All carp caught and sacked during darkness must be photographed and released by 9.30 am.
No barbless hooks.
No bent hooks (nailers etc ).
Unhooking mats must be used at all times.
Only particle baits supplied by Castle lakes can be used.
No nut baits to be used.
Minimum 15lb test line to be used.
No dogs.
No fires.
No Barbeques.
No lead core.
No halibut pellet.
All glass items to be separated from normal rubbish ( bags will be supplied ).
Anyone found littering the complex will be asked to leave.
Anglers arriving on the Saturday will not be allowed to the swims before 12.30 and must vacate their swim before 10.30 on the day of departure.
